Chris Harris stepped into a $66 million hypercar collection that brought together Ferrari models, a Bugatti Chiron, and the Pagani Utopia.

The cars were assembled in Switzerland ahead of an RM Sotheby’s auction on October 11.

The lineup covers decades of performance engineering, from naturally aspirated V12s to modern hybrid systems.

Harris moved through the display, pointing out individual details that defined each machine.

Hypercar collection highlights

The hypercar collection included Ferrari models such as the LaFerrari, the 599 GTO, and the F12 TDF.

Each one represents a different moment in the brand’s development.

The 812 Competizione was also present, built with lighter materials and aerodynamic changes aimed at track performance.

Together, the Ferrari models showed the company’s shift from traditional powertrains to modern innovations.

The Bugatti Chiron stood out with its 1,500-horsepower W16 engine.

This version carried a bare carbon finish with a subtle blue tint.

Harris noted its ability to handle winding roads with more control than expected for a car of its size and power.

Within the hypercar collection, the Bugatti Chiron illustrated a very different approach to speed compared to the Ferraris on display.

The Pagani Utopia offered another angle.

Its exposed carbon bodywork, detailed mechanicals, and unusual interior reflected the brand’s focus on design as much as engineering.

Harris pointed out the quality of the paintwork and the intricacy of the fittings.

The Pagani Utopia stood apart from the Ferrari models and the Bugatti Chiron for its unique interpretation of what a hypercar can be.

Auction stakes

The hypercar collection will go to auction with RM Sotheby’s on October 11.

Analysts expect strong bidding because of the rarity of many examples and the condition of the lineup.

Key cars include the Ferrari 333 SP, a sports prototype with race history, and bespoke projects such as the Ferrari SP1 and SP3 Daytona.

These builds came from limited programs offered to only a handful of clients.

Auctions of this scale often influence broader values.

When a hypercar collection of this size reaches the market, similar models tend to rise in price.

Collectors and investors will be watching closely as Ferrari models, the Bugatti Chiron, and the Pagani Utopia are sold.

Harris’s tour offered a clear look at a $66 million hypercar collection that will soon pass into new hands.
