A classic American yacht that was built for old-school family cruising just got treated to a major refit, and honey, you’ve never looked better.
Even with a pedigree name and a long list of upgrades, it still changed hands for a price that looks shockingly low in yacht terms.
Meet Sovereign Lady, a 1993 tri-deck motor yacht from Broward Marine that proves ‘classic’ does not always mean ‘expensive’.
From the hot tub deck setup to the rebuilt engines, this yacht has far more going for it than its final sale price suggests.

Classic American yacht receives major refit
Sovereign Lady was built in 1993, back when American-built luxury yachts were entering a new era, and it measures 37.5 meters, or 123 feet.
That size is a sweet spot for owners who want the full luxury yacht experience without the headache of running a modern mega yacht.

Under the hood, it’s powered by massive rebuilt engines, keeping things properly traditional.
The boat was fully overhauled in 2016, then upgraded again in 2022, which is when the ‘how is this such a bargain?’ vibes really kick in.
The bridge deck is one of the main highlights, with fresh decking and an extended roof that adds shade where it counts.

It is set up for proper outdoor hangouts too, with a hot tub, built-in BBQ, and even a firepit, plus lounge seating for around 20 people.
Inside, the look is intentionally bright and modern, with a fresh and happy lemon and mint color scheme to avoid the heavy, dated classic yacht feel.

Details like crushed recycled glass countertops and cocktail tables give it a more current, playful, and environmentally friendly finish.

Selling for a pocket-change price
For all that work, plus the initial Broward Marine DNA, Sovereign Lady hit the market with an asking price of just $1.5 million.
We say ‘just’ because in the yacht world, that is ‘pocket-change’ territory, especially for something that is as nice as this yacht with all its amenities and being ready to cruise.

It is the kind of listing that makes you do a double-take.
The price tag screams bargain, while the actual boat’s spec sheet makes it seem like a far pricier craft.

Whoever ends up with this classic American yacht, complete with its major refit, will probably end up getting the bargain of the century.
