When Cleetus McFarland revealed the upgrades at his factory to his team, everyone was left stunned – and for good reason.

After years of using ‘clapped out’ equipment, the team at the Freedom Factory and Bradenton Motorsports Park was getting a much-needed upgrade.

Thanks to a partnership with Polaris, the team was replacing its aged fleet.

But McFarland decided to have some fun with his team when he broke the news.

Here’s what happened when Cleetus McFarland told his team about the factory upgrade

To get a partnership up and running with Polaris is a big deal.

Polaris is a global leader in the powersports industry, lending its name to off-road vehicles, motorcycles, and lots more.

And it couldn’t have come at a better time for McFarland and his team at the Freedom Factory.

“About a year ago, I started to realize a lot of our equipment was pretty clapped out,” he said.

Some of the equipment was more than a decade old.

Facilitated by NASCAR long-timer Greg Biffle, the two parties met at the Freedom 500, and years of negotiations followed.

McFarland and his team had been working at improving the Freedom Factory for a few years now, but this new partnership opened up a whole new avenue.

For a start, they could get some new vehicles in.

For the Crown Vic & Fire Crew, they now had access to a Ranger XP 1000 4-Seater, which would do very nicely when it came time for debris cleanup.

The Grounds Crew was given a specialized Ranger XP 1000, perfect for heavy-duty landscaping.

Over at Track Management, a Ranger XD 1500 Extreme Duty was on-hand to serve as a ‘mobile office’.

Track prep expert Wade got to trade in his decade-old unit for a sparkling new Ranger XP 1000, which would help him keep the drag strip in top form.

But here’s the kicker – McFarland’s team didn’t know that these new cars were here to stay.

That was part of the fun.

The big reveal…and what came next

For the length of this video, McFarland was pretending that the new vehicles were only going to be around temporarily.

The story he was running with was that they were on-site for a Polaris commercial.

But then came the big reveal, and everybody was as ecstatic as you’d expect.

This looks to be the start of an exciting new chapter for the company.

It’s another jewel in the Cleetus McFarland crown, as he’s achieved an awful lot in his time on YouTube.

He’s shown off his 150-car collection, upgraded his wife’s Chevy Tahoe SUV, and smashed a world record with a Chevy Spark.
