Colorado woman tells Discount Tire worker she can't afford new tires, she's left in total disbelief by their response

It’s always amazing when people care about their jobs, and this Discount Tire worker has exemplified customer service to a tee after helping a Colorado woman out with new tires and an offer she couldn’t believe.

When it comes to cars, the expenses always come at the worst possible time.

Had a hard month at work? Guess what, your service is due. Just got hit with a broken washing machine? Great, you’ve also chipped your windshield. It’s always the case.

For this Colorado woman in the midst of forking out on mortgage advisor fees and a deposit for a house, she was also hit with a bill for four new Jeep Wrangler tires.

Colorado woman who needed new tires gets awesome gesture from Discount Tire worker

Tires are becoming increasingly expensive, especially as they are becoming the latest customization feature on cars; gold-trimmed rubber from Dubai is pioneering this new trend.

Others are making tires that never puncture, and you can only imagine how much they sell for…

But even the bog-standard tires are becoming increasingly expensive.

This Colorado lady found that out the hard way as she went in-store to get a check-up on her rubber, only for the Discount Tire employee to tell her that her Jeep Wrangler needed a new set of four.

However, she wasn’t in a position to pay for that, being deep within the process of buying a new house.

So what the Discount Tire employee did next was nothing short of being a superhero.

Documenting the encounter on TikTok, user Kate_5280 revealed that the employee wouldn’t let her drive off the courtyard with her shot tires and gave her a full set for free.

“I want to give you a pair, and by pair I mean a set of four,” she recounted him saying.

“I want to give you four tires today, no cost to you – I want to make sure you’re safe; that’s my number one priority.

“I just couldn’t sleep at night knowing we had somebody who had tires that weren’t great… and they couldn’t do it because of the timing of their life.”

It’s the smallest gestures that go a long way

When it comes to moments of generosity, it’s the small things that go a long way.

Whilst we’ve seen some people crack up over full-blown car conversions, others have been equally as made up by a simple car wash.

For this Colorado woman, though, she was left in awe at the shop that definitely just made her a customer for life.

“[The Jeep has] been kicking us in the teeth for months now, and this was just the little bit of kindness that I didn’t ask for – and it just shows me that good things do happen,” she said.

“Just keep rolling with the punches, and blessings will occur.”

She even rang up afterwards and asked to pay in instalments, and they refused, upholding the gesture.

With the new tires, she rolled out of the shop stress-free and ready to complete her house move.
