Conan O’Brien still owns his famous 1992 Ford Taurus SHO and is planning to get it rehabbed, although it is the most normal car ever.
O’Brien is known for flexing his 1992 Ford Taurus SHO on celebrities when he’s asked about what kind of car he drives, and while it is a running gag, he loves it because it’s ‘not cool…but also cool’.
Although the Late Night with Conan O’Brien and The Tonight Show host says he loves his trusty Taurus, he left it neglected for years, letting it collect dust thick enough that people could write messages in it.
O’Brien rediscovered the car in a parking lot and was shocked it hadn’t been towed away, and he decided that it was time for his trusty ride to get rehabbed back to the glorious beast it once was.

Conan O’Brien is probably the most well-known face in late-night American television, seen alongside various celebrities and getting up to wacky hijinks.
Back in the day, he bought a 1992 Ford Taurus SHO brand new, and while he’s driven all kinds of wild things, his trusty Taurus was arguably his most famous car.
His Ford came with a 220-horsepower 3-liter Yamaha V6 engine with a five-speed manual transmission, and it is a running gag and point of pride.
When celebs ask him what car he drives, especially compared to the other famous rides in Hollywood, his 1992 Ford Taurus SHO stands out as comically mediocre.
The late-night show host has been quoted as describing his Taurus as ‘not cool… but also cool’.
Despite his love, he neglected it
O’Brien has lent his car out to various celebrities to drive, including Brad Pitt, who famously burnt out the clutch.
Despite his love for the trusty Taurus, O’Brien wasn’t mad about the Pitt’s car and was quoted as saying: “Brad Pitt f**ed up my Ford Taurus. And who can say that?”
The late-night show host neglected his Ford Taurus for years, with it gaining a layer of dust so thick that people started writing messages in the dust.
O’Brien recently rediscovered his old car in a Warner Bros parking lot and was shocked it hadn’t been towed away by the authorities.
The rediscovery led the host to declare that he would be rehabbing his trusty steed and restoring it back to its celebrity-wowing glory.
