Someone has created a BMW Z4 convertible that’s now pretending to be a Toyota Supra.

When Toyota brought the Supra back in 2018/2019, there was no convertible option in the range, and it’s still not available.

However, that didn’t stop someone in Japan from recently creating their own Supra convertible, blending a BMW with the Toyota.

Images shared on X show the unusual creation, which actually works quite well and makes you double-take to see if it’s an official Toyota or not.

The creator of this car had an interesting way of making this very refined masterpiece.

The vast majority of it is a BMW Z4, a car with which the A90 Supra shared most of its underpinnings.

However, the front of the Supra has now been grafted onto the body of the BMW Z4.

Surprisingly, the results appear to be rather good, with the Supra’s nose blending in beautifully with the BMW’s body.

Despite much of the underpinnings being the same, the two cars look very different and don’t share any bodywork.

The Japanese man who created this has utilized the full front end of the Toyota.

This includes the bumper, headlights, quarter panels, and the clamshell-style hood.

The Z4 and Supra have fans who will argue one is better-looking than the other.

However, we think this combination works quite well.

The Toyota’s front end lines up beautifully with the Z4’s body.

Sadly, no footage or images show the process that led to this creation, we only have the finished product.

But it’s probably worth reminding Supra enthusiasts that it is nearly the end of the road for the sports car.

Final versions of the A90 have already been revealed for Japan, Europe, and America.

European and Japanese versions have had a boost to the 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine.

It now produces 429HP, while North American versions still make 382HP.

The end of the Supra will be a sad occasion for enthusiasts, with the sports car becoming critically acclaimed over the last few years.

But with Toyota’s boss being a performance car fan, don’t be surprised if it one day makes a return.
