Pebble Flow - The new all-electric RV
Pebble

An American couple flew to Michigan in order to collect their dream retro rarest RV and drove it 2000 miles back home.

They were initially pleased with their 1995 Revcon motorhome, but had some fears about the condition and the ages of some of the parts.

During their journey, they encounter breakdowns, dangerous driving conditions, searching for missing parts and even changing extreme weather.

Their journey was a success but not without a few metaphorical (and literal) bumps in the road.

The rarest RV in the world

YouTubers Riley and Courtney Casey, known online as Ambition Strikes, are not only a couple and content creators, but they’re obsessed with RVs.

Despite working on and posting videos about various different motorhomes, in November 2024, they posted a video announcing that they finally got to own their dream RV, the rarest 1995 Revcon RV.

It’s a retro lover’s dream, with an aluminum shell and a worn body to match it’s age.

The only problem? It was in Michigan- 2000 miles away from the Casey’s home.

The couple embarked on quite the odyssey to bring their new-old RV home.

While the 1995 Revcon may be the rarest campervan in the world, the title of most expensive goes elsewhere.

Happy campers?

Despite their initial excitement, it quickly became clear there were issues with the campervan.

As they drove towards home, there was an urgent need for a tire change.

The tires on the RV hadn’t been touched since 2008 and were extremely worn and dangerous.

Few places sold the required 16.5 inch tires due to the style that fit the RV being discontinued.

This meant that they had to source all six tires from different locations, making the whole experience more stressful.

Things got worse after it became clear that the RV’s oil was diluted by fuel.

An emergency roadside oil change was required and the RV had to be pushed all the way to a hotel for the night.

After this, luckily the fuel pump was replaced.

The closer they got to home, more stops happened to deal with smaller issues and fuel problems, as well as the couple having to deal with snowy conditions.

This isn’t the first time a motorhome has caused issues for its owners.

Despite all of these emergency roadside repairs, the couple fell in love with their RV throughout the journey and vowed to fix it properly, ready for further adventures as a family.

They truly turned their old, broken motorhouse into a motorhome!
