Owning a Porsche is something most car fans can only dream of, and for one couple, they finally achieved a lifelong ambition by buying a Macan.
This couple made the purchase of a lifetime by securing the Porsche Macan, ready to drive off into the sunset.
The pair, who are 92 and 94, proved that the need for speed has no age limit.
In fact, their new ride was bought to celebrate a rather special occasion, and one that has been around almost as long as the car brand itself.

Audrey and Derek Evans are a pair who have been driving for decades, with Derek first learning to drive in the 1950s, and the Evans’ first married car being an Austin 7.
Through their marriage, one passion has remained alive, and their sights have always been set on purchasing a Porsche – so what better occasion to make this a reality than their 70th wedding anniversary?
“I’ve always thought Porsche was unique – so reliable, and unlike anything else,” 92-year-old Derek said.
“We’d always fancied one, and then we thought: ‘Why not now?'”
Their model of choice was a crayon-colored Macan, with their next snap-up looking to be a Taycan.
“Neither of us are boy racers, but we do enjoy the feeling of power and comfort,” said 94-year-old Audrey.

It’s ages 90 versus 19 on local roads
After the thrill of purchasing their first luxury car in their 90s, the pair have utilised the power in every scenario, and the pair’s daughter Louise explained that the driving modes are a particular delight to Derek.
“There isn’t a 19-year-old left in Dorset that dad hasn’t left behind at the traffic lights,” she explained of the UK-based lovebirds.
“But honestly, they’ve never lived a conventional life, so when they told us they were getting a Porsche, we just smiled.”
Praising the reliability of the brand, the pair are set enjoy road trips in their new Macan.
They even explained how they now feel like they’re part of an exclusive club after never giving up on their supercar dreams.
