One woman in Portugal has been left stunned as she was filming a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse rolling down the streets of Lisbon, only to find Cristiano Ronaldo in the front seat.

As a worldwide sports legend, keeping up with the movements of Cristiano Ronaldo is no easy feat.

The Madeira-born icon has spent most of his time out in the Middle East in recent years, having secured a new deal at Saudi soccer club Al-Nassr.

But in a surprising visit back to his home in Lisbon, he was spotted getting behind the wheel of a brand-new Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, the second one in his garage.

Cristiano Ronaldo spotted driving new Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse in Lisbon

Much of Cristiano Ronaldo’s supercar collection is scattered around the world. There’s a Mansory G-Wagen in Dubai, and a Ferrari Daytona SP3 in Portugal.

However, he’s never far away from a Bugatti, having owned some of the rarest supercars that the brand can offer.

Particularly the one-of-10 Centodieci.

Recently, though, it looks like Ronaldo has rolled back the years and bought a second Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse.

A new clip posted on Instagram from a woman traveling throughout Europe showcased the celebrity rolling down the streets of Lisbon.

But knowing the fate of his first Veyron Vitesse, she was stunned to find the soccer star behind the wheel of another.

“I was shocked to see Bugatti Veyron on the streets of Lisbon. Wanted to see who is driving it – surprise Cristiano Ronaldo himself,” she said.

What happened to his first Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse?

You might be left wondering what happened to his original Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse.

Well, he originally purchased the supercar to celebrate the Portugal National Team’s success at Euro 2016 – a quad-annual competition to crown the best country in Europe.

Hued in a dark purple to reflect the Portuguese kit, it became one of his most-loved cars in an already wild collection.

However, one of his bodyguards crashed it.

While delivering the car to Cristiano Ronaldo, the bodyguard spun off and hit a wall.

It’s usual for his bodyguards to drive his cars.

One even filmed themselves driving the iconic Centodieci.

Truth be told, this could just be a completely restored and customized version of his original Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, but knowing his extraordinary earnings in soccer, it might have been much easier for him to slap a few mil on the table for a new one.

Either way, it’s pretty awesome to see the sports star roll back the years in a supercar he’s loved for the better part of a decade.
