A Rolls-Royce customer commissioned this stunning one-of-a-kind Phantom Cherry Blossom that is inspired by a Japanese tradition.
The idea for the beautiful one-of-one bespoke Rolls-Royce Phantom was first conceived three years ago.
It is inspired by ‘Hanami’, the Japanese tradition of viewing cherry blossoms in the springtime.
Every single detail of the Cherry Blossom Phantom has been carefully selected to create a harmonious and distinctive finished design.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom ‘Cherry Blossom’ is inspired by nature
When it comes to car customization, Rolls-Royce offers one of the most comprehensive and extensive programs out there.
Customers are pretty much given free rein to design the car of their dreams – ending up with a vehicle that’s as unique as they are.

One Japanese customer has recently received this stunning one-of-one Rolls-Royce Phantom Cherry Blossom that takes its inspiration from ‘the fleeting beauty of the Sakura blooms’ and the customer’s ‘formative memories of this stunning natural spectacle’.
Hanami is the Japanese term given to the tradition of viewing these Sakura blossoms during the brief period that they are in full bloom.
And it also turns out that’s it pretty amazing inspiration for a truly unique vehicle.
The conception of the Phantom Cherry Blossom began three years ago when the customer sat down with Rolls-Royce to share his vision.
And we can’t help but feel that its new owner will be absolutely delighted with how it turned out.
The bespoke vehicle is absolutely stunning
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Cherry Blossom exterior features Crystal over Arctic White paintwork with a hand-painted coachline and a small cherry blossom motif.
However, it’s the inside of the bespoke build that is truly spectacular.
Detailed embroidery, made from more than 250,000 stitches, makes it feel as though you’re ‘sitting beneath a flowering tree during Hanami’, according to Rolls-Royce.

The Starlight Headliner features an embroidered cherry tree with delicate white blossoms sprinkled throughout.
There’s more delicate embroidery on the rear door panels, the privacy suite partition, and between the front and rear passenger compartments.
The car also includes a very first for Rolls-Royce in the form of three-dimensional embroidery.
The three-dimensional embroidery ‘required specialists to pioneer a new technique, where the thread is layered upon itself to form a self-supporting structure’ and each petal then had to be carefully shaped and sculpted by hand to get it into the perfect shape.
But all that hard work and hours of labor certainly paid off, because the finished vehicle is one of the most beautiful and detailed customizations in the luxury car world.
