Check out this incredible collection of more than 40 cars, which includes the fifth Chevrolet Corvette ever made.
That’s not the only rare car tucked away in the collection, in fact, it’s not even the only rare Corvette in the collection.
Alongside the classic ‘Vettes, there’s also a Pontiac Bonneville and a low-mileage special edition 1980 Pontiac Trans Am.
Better yet, each and every single car is in pristine condition and looks as slick as it did the day it was made.

The collection houses the fifth Chevrolet Corvette ever made
The collection was acquired by John Clay Wolfe, CEO and founder of GiveMeTheVin – who is certainly no stranger to an epic classic car haul, having previously unearthed this ‘one-in-a-million’ barn find of more than 20 vehicles and this jaw-dropping stash in Wisconsin.
The team from Gas Monkey Garage went along to Dallas to check out the collection and it’s fair to say they were blown away.
For starters, there’s that 1953 Chevrolet Corvette that is VIN #5 – aka the fifth one ever made.
There are very few examples of the 300 Corvettes made by Chevy in 1953 still out there and even fewer in as good condition as this one.
The car has been restored to the exacting standard of the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) meaning it looks practically brand new.
The vintage ‘Vette isn’t the only rare car in the haul
Elsewhere in the collection, there’s a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 ‘Big Tank’ which is one of just 50 ever made – featuring the iconic ‘split window’ design which Chevy has revealed it will be reviving for the ZR1.
There’s also a Smokey and the Bandit special edition 1980 Pontiac Trans Am with just 967 miles on the clock and a 1958 Chevrolet Impala which comes complete with its factory air conditioning system.
There’s even a vehicle with a famous previous owner – a 1950s Chevy truck that was once the daily driver of country music legend George Jones.
An impressive collection, right?
