From just a simple van, Dave transformed the vehicle to make it a fully portable home on wheels.

Fully customized Dodge Caravan camper van

The story of Dave and his camper van is covered on YouTube by the New Jersey Outdoor Adventures channel.

Stepping inside, the Dodge Caravan camper van was fully customized based on Dave’s needs.

The passenger seat has been replaced with a stainless steel sink with access to a water heater and a 16-gallon freshwater tank.

To give more height and space to the van, Dave raised it by 18 inches and added a fiberglass roof.

On the top, there are also two large solar panels to run the utilities inside the van, and the panels can be raised by just switching on a button.

The added roof rack beneath the solar panels doesn’t just provide extra storage but can also be tilted to access the items easily.

The van comes with all the necessities

The van also comes with other facilities including a small freezer, refrigerator, and even a diesel heater for those colder nights.

Everywhere you look, the van had storage spaces either in the form of cubbies or drawers and still, it looked quite spacious.

The bed was designed to be foldable to save all the space during the daytime.

The rear part of the van had other utility items like a portable toilet, a portable shower, and large cans of water.

The electric setup for solar panels was also installed in this area.

It may not look like a luxury camper van, but it functions perfectly for Dave’s needs, providing comfort, convenience, and a sense of adventure.
