This Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat faced a C8 Chevrolet Corvette in a race, and it ended in a total demolition.
When gearheads are determined to see the performance of a car, often racing it is the only sensible decision, which is exactly what happened here.
Both of the cars were put to the ultimate test in a drag race on the race track.
But, there was one clear winner that stormed the track and speed level by miles.

This Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat faced a C8 Chevrolet Corvette in a race
When it comes to high-powered, speedy cars, the Dodge Challenger and C8 Chevrolet Corvette are two of the best in the game.
The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat muscle car is capable of a whopping 707hp with its base option, alongside the ability to go from 0-60 in just 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 199mph.
“It has a bulging hood scoop, snarling front grille, wide body stance, and dual exhausts. The Hellcat exudes power and performance from every angle,” explained Dodge itself.
The Corvette, on the other hand, is an equally powerful force to be reckoned with, with the new C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray boasting a serious need for speed.
“The mid-engine marvel continues to carve its legacy with every push of the ignition,” noted Chevrolet.
And it’s not wrong.
According to the car manufacturer, the new Stingray can pump out 482hp thanks to its 6.2-liter V8 engine.
So, to see which car really came out on top, one YouTuber filmed the two powerhouses going head to head.

And there was one clear winner, as one car hurtled ahead of the other, kicking up some serious speed on the track.
YouTube creator ImportRace captured the footage in real time on the race track.
One of the cars reached 113 mph, and the other finished at a mighty 152mph – and it will be no surprise as to which car actually won the drag race once and for all.
As you can probably guess, the Hellcat achieved first place, reaching over 150mph and simply storming it down the race track.
“The significant horsepower advantage of the Hellcat usually becomes the dominant factor once both cars are moving and traction is less of a concern,” stated the YouTuber.

The Dodge Challenger Hellcat is a muscle car masterpiece
Dodge is known for creating a powerful fleet of cars, with the Challenger muscle car being a popular choice among gearheads.
But, Dodge also has some famous fans.
For example, sports legend Shaquille O’Neal even has a custom Dodge Hellcat, which some of his fans spotted an interesting detail about recently.
Plus, the Hellcat doesn’t just stick to roads either, as there’s even a 700hp Dodge Hellcat boat that proves to be the ultimate luxury toy for the rich and crazy.
But, if you still don’t believe that the powerful muscle car is a force to be reckoned with, then give the drag race a watch below.
