Dodge is celebrating 20 years of  HEMI-powered Durangos with two special-edition models, including the stunning 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet.

Dodge first released a Durango SRT Hellcat in 2020, with a beefy 6.2-liter V-8 under the hood, followed by a second model in 2023.

Now, as a nod to two decades of HEMI-powered Durangos, the SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet has been announced, alongside the equally special-edition 2025 Dodge Durango R/T 20th Anniversary.

The Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet packs a punch

Dodge is quite partial to a special edition, having previously released a bunch of Charger and Challenger models

But even among special editions the Hellcat Silver Bullet is – well – special.

Branded as the ‘most powerful SUV ever’ the Silver Bullet has a supercharged 6.2 liter HEMI Hellcat V8 engine, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The car can do 0-97km/h (0-60mph) in a super-speedy 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 289km/h (180mph).

So it’s pretty quick.

Not only is it fast, but it looks the part with a slick Triple Nickel exterior paint job, complete with a Satin Black painted hood, metallic grey SRT Hellcat badging, and a complementary Satin Black Dodge taillamp badge.

To complete the look you can choose from 20-inch or 21-inch ‘Lights Out’ alloys, Fancy.

But the slick motor doesn’t come cheap

Inside is equally as gorgeous with Ebony Red Nappa leather seats with the SRT Hellcat logo embroidered onto seatbacks and accented with sepia stitching.

The wrapped instrument panel comes with carbon fiber accents and sits nicely alongside the suede steering wheel embellished with silver and sepia accent stitching.

Swish, no?

Like many modern cars, it’s crammed full of tech with a 10.1-inch touchscreen offering wireless connectivity to your phone and wireless charging, as well as a 19-speaker Harman Kardon system.

“The HEMI engine has fueled the Dodge Durango for 20 years, and the supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V-8 HEMI engine option transforms the Durango into the most powerful SUV ever,” said Matt McAlear, Dodge brand CEO in a statement

“The Dodge Durango and the HEMI engine form a powerful pair, and with this announcement, Dodge continues to deliver HEMI power to enthusiasts and families alike.”

But, if you want to own a piece of automotive history, then you’ll need to be willing to splash the cash.

The SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet will set you back $113,325, excluding the destination charge.
