Dodge has been at the forefront of car industry news this year.
Stellantis’ sub-brand made waves when it announced the Charger Daytona EV.
Despite it being panned, Dodge is far from throwing in the towel on 2025.
Because it’s just announced the release of the world’s only four-door muscle car.

Dodge hasn’t exactly enjoyed the best start to 2025, in all honesty.
Like most American car brands, it suffered big with regard to sales numbers.
The American marque bet on its EV offerings, especially the new Charger Daytona EV.
But despite a growing global demand for EV production, Dodge appeared to miss the mark.
In fact, its old, ICE-powered Charger and Challenger stock outsold its new EV supply.

Instead of shying away, though, it appears to be doubling down on its EV efforts.
To that end, yesterday brought big news from the iconic American brand.
It threw off the covers of the brand-new Dodge Charger Daytona Sedan.
The automaker has unveiled this offering and coined it as the world’s only four-door muscle car.
This four-door variant of the Charger Daytona EV comes with some serious firepower, as well.
Its dual-electric motors reportedly produce 670HP and 627LB-FT of torque from the factory.
The brand has described this offering as giving ‘Hellcat Redeye levels of performance.’
Said electric motors provide a reported 0-60 time of just 3.3 seconds.
And the new, four-door Charger Daytona Sedan offers a lot more besides.
20-inch wheels come as standard, as does 241 miles of range on a full charge.
“The beauty is in the simplicity,” Matt McAlear, the CEO of Dodge, said.

“It’s a real testament to the Dodge design and engineering teams that, apart from two additional doors, the Dodge Charger Daytona sedan embodies the same look and feel as the coupe,” he concluded.
This new Daytona Sedan offering has been slated as a 2026-model release, so it won’t be here until next year.
The automaker has also listened to the deep unpopularity of solely EV offerings, with ICE-powered options on their way.
“The 2026 Charger line-up is all about giving our customers the power to choose the muscle car that best fits their lifestyle.
“Even more choices [are] to come later this year [including] gas-powered SIXPACK Charger models,” McAlear confirmed.
It will be extremely interesting to see how the public reacts to this four-door Daytona Sedan.
The brand will be hoping to dodge some of the criticism it has faced this past year.
