Drake unveiled his custom 1-of-1 1999 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen, and it’s decked out in so many amazing personal details.
Built by S-KLUB LA, this one-off Safari edition is a total transformation of what we’ve come to expect from the G-Wagen.
This is a two-door off-roader with a whole lot of personality, and that’s before we even mention the personal customizations.
But what would his fans make of it?
When it comes to cars, Drake is known for going big
Rappers are renowned for their flashy taste in cars, but Drake is especially prone to splashing the car on his vehicles.
His entire collection is estimated to be worth $9 million, and includes some seriously rare specimen.
Among his haul is a rare $1.3 million Bugatti that’s believed to be one of 15, and a custom armored super truck fit for any apocalyptic scenario.
He’s a man who knows what he likes, and the common thread often seems to be cars on the bigger side.
That certainly rings true with a recent acquisition he’s gone public with.

Taking a closer look at this 1-of-1 1999 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen
In an Instagram post shared to his 140 million followers, Drake unveiled a custom 1999 Mercedes-Benz G-Class with OVO details.
Built by S-KLUB LA, the truck looks like it’s ready to hit an African safari – but from the looks of it, it’s sticking around on Drake’s Texan ranch.

The base is a rare 1999 G500 Europa edition, but now it’s totally unrecognizable, as a two-door safari truck with an open-bed.
In the middle of the grille guard, an owl badge sits there – a nod to OVO, the lifestyle brand and record label founded by Drake himself.
And the references don’t stop there – ‘ICE MAN’ decals run across the roof rack as a nod to ICEMAN, Drake’s latest album.

The inside was also reportedly rebuilt, with Audison Thesis speakers, DSP Forza amps, and four 10-inch subs.
All of that adds up to one epic sound system.
But what did the internet make of Drake’s latest car?
How did Drake’s fans react to the custom G-Wagen?
Under the Instagram post, plenty of people came together to share their thoughts.
“This gives Dukes of Hazard,” one fan wrote.
“Damn that Benz is fire,” another said.

Even WhistlinDiesel got in on the action, writing: “Followed for the car.”
Admittedly, given that there was another car featured in the post, it’s not entirely clear what the YouTuber was reacting to.
At any rate, we can only imagine what a collaboration between WhistlinDiesel and Drake would look like.
We only hope for the rapper’s sake that he has a fire extinguisher on standby.
