The Fastest Porsche 911 Ever Made – Turbo S

A man looking into buying a very famous classic sports car Porsche was left scratching his head at its condition after it hadn’t been driven in 16 years.

The Porsche 911 SC is from 1982 and has sentimental value as the owner had passed away and left it to his brother.

The car required an immense amount of work to fix so the seller offered it to the buyer for only £15,000.

The question remains: Was the cost of all the repairs worth it or will he decide against buying the car?

A classic sports car abandoned

Mat Watson, an English YouTuber, was over the moon to discover his dream car, a 1982 Porsche 911 SC was being sold close to where he lives in Bedford.

The seller had a lot of sentimental memories associated with the car as his brother owned it before passing away but knew it was time for it to find a new home.

The seller was offering it to Mat for £15,000 however Mat didn’t take the offer until he got a chance to properly look at it.

Vintage car renovations are famously a bit hit-and-miss.

Will he buy it?

Mat started looking over the car and closer inspections revealed scratches, rust, and paint bubbling, particularly on the wings and sills.

The interior of the Porsche had some non-original parts which lowered the car’s value as well as the sagging door cards and trims.

He also found even more rust spots on crucial parts of the car, as well as a broken door.

Mat was advised that repairs would cost a further £15,000 on top of the cost of the car, bringing the total car price to £30,000 after repairs.

Mat ultimately decided it wasn’t the deal he thought it was and passed it up, deciding that he would look further afield for his dream car.
