Dubai police add Lamborghini Urus Performante to its already outrageous fleet of cars

There aren’t many police forces in the world that can boast a Lamborghini Urus Performante in their fleet.

Dubai Police can, though.

They recently splashed out $260,000 on the super-SUV, adding more brute force to their lineup.

The Dubai Police fleet of cars is a covetable collection, with a wide range of high-performance vehicles.

From a Ferrari FF to an Aston Martin Vantage and Bugatti Veyron, it possesses an exquisite range of cars.

Not too long ago, the police force added a $300,000 luxury Bentley Continental GT to its fleet.

Understandably, the Dubai Police fleet has attracted worldwide attention, however, these cars are not just for their face value, they serve a purpose.

Adding a Urus to its fleet is part of Dubai Police’s strategy to upgrade vehicles for different operations, enhancing safety and security.

And what a char to have in the fleet; the Lamborghini Urus Performante features a tuned version of the brand’s twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8.

It produces 657bhp – 16bhp more than the standard Urus – while torque remains the same at a healthy 626 lb ft.

All that power means the Lambo SUV can accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.3 seconds (0.3 seconds faster than the base Urus), and on to a top speed of 306 km/h (190 mph).

Of course, the Urus is white, with an olive green stripe running up the middle of the SUV’s hood.

Along the sides of the police vehicle are more green decals, and the same goes for the rear, too.

Finishing things off nicely, the Urus adorns the number ‘60’ license plate, which includes the police force’s logo.

Just like civilian-owned Urus’, Dubai Police’s latest acquisition has a sporty interior, which has been specced with black/blue seats featuring the Lambo emblem on the headrests.

The high-performance supercar was handed over to Dubai Police at the Dubai Air Show.

Whether you live there or you’re just visiting, keep an eye out for the new Dubai Police Lamborghini Urus Performante around the city.
