As Tesla fans are waiting for the activation of this exciting feature, others – like flying car brand Xpeng – are watching closely, and soon they too will aim to introduce Full Self-Driving features into their vehicles.
Tesla vehicles are all about future of the automotive industry, and the FSD feature is not the only advanced feature of the car.
Their vehicles also use drive-by-wire technology, which means steering, braking, and acceleration are controlled electronically, without traditional mechanical connections.
The FSD feature will soon be accessible
Another futuristic feature is the Traffic-Aware Cruise Control, that automatically adjusts the car’s speed based on surrounding traffic.
To boost the FSD launch in China, Tesla is running pilot programs with local vehicles.
Moreover, their partnership with brands like Baidu, for navigation and mapping, are further providing assistance.
As per the reports, Elon Musk expects the FSD feature to be approved by China by the end of 2024, which will mark a significant success for the brand.
