It was a truly surreal moment when these eight Ferrari F40s showed up on the streets of Paris.
The French capital has earned a well-deserved reputation as a romantic destination, a cultural hotspot, and a culinary treasure trove.
But that has left its automotive prowess somewhat overlooked.
If this sighting is anything to go by, Paris is evidently the place to be if you want to see some seriously flashy cars.
Around the world, certain cities garner a reputation for their cars
There’s some cities which are known for having great restaurants, while others are world-famous for their landmarks.
And then there’s some cities which attract supercar greatness like vinegar lures in flies.
Dubai is a classic example of this, where even its police force is decked out in Ferraris and Lamborghinis.
London also pulls it weight in this regard, whether it’s Rolls-Royces or a pink McLaren.
But Paris often gets overlooked.
People think of Paris and they’ll think of romantic music, great food, and world-class museums.
Fast cars? Not so much.
Maybe this video doing the rounds online will change that perception somewhat.

This social media video captured a remarkable convoy of Ferrari F40s making its way down a street of the European metropolis.
As you might expect, the fleet garners a big response from Parisians, many of whom whip out their phones to capture the moment.
All in all, there was eight F40s in this pack, each as stunning as the last.
Will we see a big uptick in petrol-heads paying Paris a visit? Only time will tell.
But here’s one thing we know for sure – these F40s looked beautiful on the streets of the City of Love.
