Are aliens invading London?!

Okay, so you might be wondering what exactly is going on here.

Well, allow us to fill you in on the background.

Over the past few days, the city of London has been experiencing something unique.

People have noticed a fascinating phenomenon in the skies above the city.

A huge blue light has been seen piercing the clouds above London.

Naturally, this ‘sky laser‘ has seen hundreds of people taking to social media.

‘Sky laser’ is part of a wider show

Of course, with any such phenomenon, it has led to many questioning its origins.

Is it an alien invasion? Is it some sort of color blind bat signal?

Well, it looks like the people of London finally have an answer.

Unfortunately, it likely isn’t anything as fascinating as an alien invasion.

And it certainly isn’t a scene from Transformers, either.

What it most likely is, in fact, is an exhibition.

It turns out that the LIGHT 25 exhibition was being held from November 19th to November 20th.

The event was being hosted at London’s Business Design Center, and was showcasing architectural and decorative lighting.

Promotional material for the event showed a ‘sky laser‘ being fired into the sky.

It was almost identical to the one witnessed over London itself.

People who attended the exhibition event have posted up-close photos of the ‘sky laser’ itself.

“Glad it’s not aliens, I’ve got plans this weekend,” one person humorously quipped.

Although it’s not an interesting reason for the ‘sky laser’, we have to agree on this one.
