Flying first-class is about to get a serious upgrade on Etihad Airways’ suites on its all-new Airbus A321LR this August.
This sleek new single-aisle jet is packed with top-notch comforts, from a lie-flat bed in the sky to ultra-fast Wi-Fi.
And you get a lot more than just a seat because it’s a suite, complete with privacy doors.
With routes to cities like Paris, Zurich, Bangkok, and Milan, there are many opportunities to try Etihad’s new first-class product.

Impressive first-class product for a single-aisle jet
Etihad’s brand-new First Suites are a real showstopper.
They’re basically mini luxury hotel rooms, just at 35,000 feet in the air.
And while they pale in size compared to the airline’s famous Residence, it’s not exactly a fair comparison.
The Residence comes with your own private bedroom, ensuite shower room and separate living area, but is only found on Etihad’s A380 planes, which is the largest passenger airliner in the world.
On most other single-aisle aircraft, international first-class is almost non-existent, making this a real opportunity for luxury even on shorter routes.
This new cabin is part of Etihad’s ‘Journey 2030’ vision, a bold plan to double its fleet, triple passenger numbers, and launch 16 new destinations in 2025 alone.
The new A321LR is key to this plan, combining wide-body comfort with narrow-body efficiency.

Etihad promises ground-to-air luxury
With just two suites per aircraft, it’s an ultra-exclusive experience.
Each suite comes with a lie-flat bed, a sliding privacy door, and a massive 20-inch 4K screen, complete with Bluetooth pairing and wireless charging.
Superfast Wi-Fi is also provided, supporting streaming, gaming and even live TV gate-to-gate.
It’s everything you would expect in long-haul First Class, except now you can get it on a medium-haul flight.

Starting from booking, the airline promises a concierge team that is on call 24/7 for personalized planning.
In the UAE and at select destinations, you’ll get chaffeured to and from the airport, breeze through dedicated check-in, and relax in the airline’s First Lounge.
You’ll even be driven directly to the aircraft door, if you’re flying from the airline’s Abu Dhabi hub.
Once you land, a porter handles your luggage, and your driver whisks you away, with no queues and waiting required.
Etihad’s message is clear: First Class is not just a seat, but an experience.
