After buying a Chery Tiggo 4 Pro Ultimate – a cheap Chinese SUV – online, this man fell to his knees after seeing it in real life.
With the reign of the Ford F-150 being unseated by an SUV, American car appetites appear to be shifting away from pickups.
But with many of the leading SUVs coming in at exorbitant prices, maybe it’s time to start looking to different countries for cheaper alternatives.
With that in mind, up steps this cheap Chinese SUV named the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, and it’s already got one fan.

This Chinese SUV is winning over Australians
The Chinese car market has enjoyed a well-documented improvement lately. One luxury electric SUV has recently gone viral for its gains on American companies like Tesla.
The country has even produced one of the meanest multi-million dollar SUVs in existence with the bulletproof Karlmann King.
But as its roads begin to be populated with vastly improved cars, the prices are much more affordable than the leading SUVs in the US like Toyota’s RAV4.
The Chery Tiggo 4 Pro Ultimate, for example, was bought by one Australian man for just $26k in a secret online purchase, and his knees buckled at its glory.

YouTubers at CarSauce went above and beyond to purchase this Chinese SUV in an incognito manner.
Ensuring that the dealership didn’t mark the price up (or down) for a content creator, they got a real feel for what it would be like to buy one as a genuine customer.
Upon arrival, the Aussie men were met with a glorious-looking SUV that wouldn’t look out of place alongside a BMW iX or a Kia Sportage.
Aside from their personal preferences about the shape of its rear end, the creators applauded most elements of the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro.

“I think that you get absolutely everything that you need and want down at this price point,” said CarSauce presenter Matt.
“It’s actually absurd to me.
“It looks good. The interior is really nice with great technology – literally, every feature that you could want.”
He confessed that while it was good to drive, and notably better than some alternatives, it wouldn’t blow you away in the same sense that the rest of the car does for this value.
However, for such a price, he struggled to find anything on the market that could compete.
The Chinese market has some way to go to get its engines up to scratch, but it appears to have mastered the art of making cars look great for low prices.
