Former Ferrari F1 driver Carlos Sainz had received a stunning Ferrari Daytona SP3 just a week after his final race with the Scuderia.

Carlos Sainz bespoke Ferrari Daytona SP3

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is no ordinary car. It comes with an 829-horsepower 6.5-liter V12 engine that revs up to 9,500 rpm.

This limited-production model is inspired by the legendary Ferrari 330 P4 endurance racer from 1967.

However, the SP3 stands out with its modern design and unique details made especially for Carlos Sainz.

The car is finished in matte gray with red stripes, and his F1 number – 55 – is incorporated into the side sills.

Ferrari Scuderia Monte-Carlo shared the big news on Instagram, showing off the incredible car.

The post instantly grabbed attention, with fans getting excited to see the new edition to the garage of the F1 driver.

People loved how Ferrari delivered such a special car to Sainz, despite his departure from the team.

Personalized features inspired by the F1 driver

One fan commented: “Sexy car for sexy driverrr. [sic]”

Another wrote: “Smoothest Daytona for the smoothest operator!”

A third user said: “These are the teams that love their drivers.”

To personalize the car even more, Ferrari added a ‘Smooth Operator’ script on the center console and air intakes – based on the driver’s memorable moment in 2019.

The personalization is similar to how BMW recently gifted the new BMW MX to Ronaldo and other Al Nassr players with their own unique license plates.

Now Sainz will be moving on to Williams for the 2025 F1 season, but the Ferrari Daytona SP3 will always remind him of his amazing journey with the Scuderia.
