Fernando Alonso just added another spectacular car to his collection, and this time we’re talking about a Pagani Zonda.
For once, this isn’t a car built for the Formula One driver, but it’s a one-off that Pagani unveiled nearly 10 years ago.
It’s a stunning 1-of-1 finished in emerald green, and it only came with 500 miles on the clock.
But given the way Alonso uses his cars, that’s probably about to change.
Fernando Alonso’s car collection needs to be studied
Fernando Alonso has millions in the bank and priority access to limited-edition supercars.
He’s certainly been making the most of these two things.
The 44-year-old driver owns a long list of limited-edition and invite-only supercars, especially Ferraris and Astons.

He has both an Aston Martin Valkyrie and an Aston Martin Valiant, which was actually designed with his help.
Also, unlike so many other collectors, he actually uses his cars.
Alonso is often spotted in Monaco, where he lives, at the wheel of one of these beauties.

And the proof is in the pudding: he’s already been spotted in his brand-new Pagani Zonda Diamanté Verde Roadster.
This Pagani Zonda is a one-off

Previously listed with German exotic car specialists Mechatronic, with under 500 miles on the clock, this 2017 Pagani Zonda is a one-off.
Based on the Zonda 760, the Diamante Verde can be easily recognized by its unique emerald green carbon fiber body (with vivid green accents) and its black wheels.

Mechanically, it’s basically the same as the 760.
It uses an AMG-sourced 7.3-liter V12, which develops 760 ps – hence the name – equivalent to 750 horsepower.

We don’t know how much it cost him because the transaction will remain private, but what we do know is that the car was listed by Mechatronik for approximately €10 million, which translates to roughly $11.7 million.
