This Ferrari 458 owner in Japan has achieved something remarkable in his Italian supercar.
Believe it or not, it’s clocked a quarter of a million miles during his ownership.
And that’s not even the end of the remarkable story.
Because that supercar is still going strong.

Japanese Ferrari 458 owner goes viral
Japan is one of the spiritual homes of supercar ownership.
The Asian nation has some of the most passionate car fans anywhere on the planet.
But this owner has just achieved something truly unique.
A post on the social media platform Reddit has gone viral, and features a Ferrari 458 – nothing overly unusual there.
But what is unusual is the mileage feat that has been achieved.
The Reddit post shows the car and the odometer.

And the odometer displays a scarcely-believable 394,738km.
That’s around 250,000 miles in our money.
“The engine got replaced at 350k according to the owner!” noted the caption.
That is some seriously impressive dedication.
Of course, supercars driving that sort of mileage are almost unheard of.
250,000 miles is nothing to Japanese supercar owners
Clearly, the car world agreed with that sentiment.
Because the comments were full of praise for this Japanese Ferrari 458 owner.
“Oh wow. Japanese car culture is wild on a different level,” was the view of the top comment.
“Fish is for eating. Car is for driving. Stock market is for investing,” another noted.
One of the most up-voted comments summed up the view of everyone perfectly.
“Respect to the driver. Life is too short to worry about resale value. Drive your car like you might die tomorrow because one of these days it’ll be true,” the comment said.

Of course, Japanese supercar owners are famous for fully enjoying their cars.
One man is famous for taking a $3 million Ferrari F40 camping almost every year.
Even Japan’s new Prime Minister, Sanae Takaichi, is famous for this.
She still owns the Toyota Supra that she has driven for more than 20 years.
Owning a Ferrari 450 for more than 250,000 miles is a remarkable achievement.
We can’t wait to see it being driven for another 250,000.
