A car wrapping businessman has created the world’s only Karrari, a Ferrari replica made out of the humble Ford Ka.

Creating a replica of a Ferrari supercar is nothing new, as for some, it’s the closest they’ll ever get to owning one of the legendary Italian cars.

So businessman Daniel Graxinha came up with this novel way of ensuring he’d have one of the supercars in his collection, by converting a Ford Ka.

It is an unusual way to repurpose the Ford, but it certainly stands out among all the others.

The Ford Ka Ferrari replica is an interesting choice

The choice of a Ford Ka to make a Ferrari replica is a very interesting one.

For the most part, people choose the Pontiac Fiero, such as with this Lamborghini replica, so they can live out their Italian supercar dreams.

But this busted Ford Ka, bought by a Brazilian businessman, went very much against the grain.

With the car bought for cheap, Graxinha thought it was worth a go to convert the Ford coupe.

The car cost him around $2,900, and the work done to it has made the Karrari worth around $36,300.

Looking at it, it’s fair to say it’s an interesting change from the original car.

What was done to make this a Karrari?

The most noticeable change is the red bodywork to mimic that of the Italian supercars.

Daniel has also added butterfly doors, which aren’t typically a Ferrari staple, but they are for some cars.

It took the businessman two weeks to work out how to get the doors to function correctly.

One thing the car doesn’t have, however, is replica Ferrari badging.

Adding that to the car could result in some strongly worded letters from the Italian manufacturer.

It also doesn’t quite have the power of the car it is trying to replicate.

Under the hood, it still has a 1.0-liter Endura-E flex four-cylinder engine that makes 53hp.

However, this car isn’t about being fast and powerful; it is all about having some fun with it.

It is also nice to see someone create a Ferrari replica that doesn’t use a Pontiac Fiero!
