Ghana has welcomed its first Tesla Cybertruck, and it belongs to none other than billionaire Osei Kwame Despite.

The renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist, who is the CEO of Despite Firm Ltd., is the wealthiest man in the country.

This marks a special moment for both Ghana and Tesla, as the futuristic vehicle has finally made its way to West Africa.

The video of Ghana’s first Cybertruck instantly went viral on Instagram, where it was shared by TeslaPro, a page dedicated to everything related to Tesla.

The first Tesla Cybertruck arrives in Ghana

As the electric truck zoomed down the streets, it attracted swarms of people who wanted photos and videos of the vehicle.

Unlike some Cybertruck owners who customize their trucks with unique wraps and designs – like NFL linebacker Isaiah Simmons, who gave his truck a white wrap – Osei Kwame Despite chose to keep his Cybertruck in its original form.

The Cybertruck’s shiny, reflective body looks stunning on its own, there’s no doubt about it.

People flooded the comment section of the video.

Public reactions to the viral Instagram video

The video garnered hundreds of comments, with the majority of them positive.

There were plenty of ‘wow’ reactions, while another user remarked on how shiny the panels were, saying, ‘sunlight reflection is going to be insane’.

But not all comments were positive.

Some criticized how people were touching the truck and leaving fingerprints all over its body, and they had a point.

In the video, you can see fingerprint marks being left behind by the groups of people following the truck as it drove past them.

Despite the mixed reactions, the arrival of the Cybertruck was a major event for Ghana, especially for Osei Kwame Despite, who is a well-known figure in the country.

Apart from that, it’s a major success for Elon Musk’s Tesla, too, which has been rapidly right across the globe.
