This Ford Focus was a cherished gift from a McDonald’s restaurant before it was wrecked by a four-wheeler.
It was then bought for a grand by a Florida man with a trailer, a toolbox, and a plan.
What followed was six days of sweat, spray paint, junkyard runs, and a questionable tie rod situation.
It’s a flip story that involves one very determined Floridian and one very orange hatchback.

He bought a Ford Focus for $1,000 and he’s selling it for $3,500
When you hear ‘$1,000 Focus,’ you don’t expect much.
Maybe a dead engine, maybe some DIY bodywork, but this car had promise – frame straight, no airbags blown, even the seatbelts worked.
The damage came from a four-wheeler, which somehow pancaked the front end but missed all the expensive stuff underneath.
The car still started – until it spewed oil everywhere. But turns out, it just knocked the oil filter loose. Easy fix.

The radiator, bumper, hood, headlight, and tie rod? All simple junkyard swaps.
One haul cost him just $280, and he got nearly everything.
He even spray-painted the new panels to match the factory orange – and honestly, it looks pretty dang good.
Inside, he cleaned out years of sand, swapped in a new head unit with Apple CarPlay, and wired up a backup camera.
He even replaced the windshield trim and fender liners – small stuff most flippers skip.
The only part that didn’t cooperate? The A/C.
But then, on the test drive, it just… started working again.
By the end, he’d spent $2,021. And now it’s up for sale on Facebook Marketplace for $3,500–$4,000.
No more check engine lights. Everything works.
After six days of full-send garage labor, it’s ready to roll.

From fast food to fast fix
What makes this Ford Focus extra exciting? Its backstory.
This car’s original owner got it as a gift from a McDonald’s.
She was a manager, the restaurant gave it to her, and she later passed it down to her daughter – who then had an unfortunate run-in with a rogue four-wheeler and here we are.
Definitely not your average Ford rap sheet.
But now it’s been given new life, and a chance to add some chapters to its already- story.

Turns out some hard work, an ultra-impressive color-match, and a guy who knew where to cut costs without cutting corners was all it took.
Sure, it’s still a 13-year-old Focus. But this Florida man turned a wreck into something anyone would be proud of.
Now all he has to do is turn a profit.
