This Ford Focus went from damaged goods to a 566BHP beast after tuners worked their magic

This tuning company turned a Ford Focus RS into a 556BHP beast.

When they were given the car, it was a massive headache on wheels.

Everything was wrong and nothing was working.

Well, that’s no longer the case.

How this tuning company worked its magic on this Ford Focus RS

Dreamscience Motorsport turned this car into a work of art.

When they got it from its owner, the car was running on two cylinders.

It took some time and effort but the company brought the car back to life and documented the whole process on TikTok.

They replaced the two malfunctioning cylinders, obviously, but they also fitted a new intercooler, a new oil cooler it and a Stage 4 TXX Tuning Kit.

As a result, the car now produces 556BHP, which is a lot for a Ford Focus.

A dying breed

The Ford Focus RS is what some people call a hot hatch, which is essentially a high-performance version for an equivalent compact car.

The problem is automakers are essentially killing this particular type of car to replace them with SUVs, even when they’re relatively compact and short SUVs like the Tesla Model Y.

The Ford Focus, along with other Ford models, was discontinued this year and it won’t be replaced, and the list of compact cars just like the Focus that either don’t exist anymore or about to be discontinued is quite long.

Even the iconic Volkswagen Golf is no longer as popular as it used to be.

Obviously is still selling well, but nowhere near as well as it used to in 2000s and 1990s.

Trucks aside, the list of best-selling vehicles in the world features an SUV occupying the number one spot, and then a bunch of SUVs and sedans.

Pity.
