Flying more than 1,000 miles for a Rolls-Royce isn’t your everyday errand.
A couple flew in from Miami to Philadelphia to see a 2018 Dawn – blue on white, 17,000 miles, and tagged at $200,000.
Usually, that kind of trip ends with a deal done, but not this time.
Instead, the buyer wanted more time, and vehicle acquisition pro George Saliba was there to guide the process.

1,000 miles for a Rolls-Royce? Maybe…
On paper, this looked like a quick win.
George admitted he was hoping for a delivery that day, but after the test run, the buyer decided to slow things down.
Instead of rushing, he flagged a few details from the test drive – a bump here, a cruise control check there – and decided to line up a full inspection before making a call.

It wasn’t hesitation, just caution with a six-figure luxury convertible. Understandable – if we were spending that kind of money, we’d want to be sure too.
For now, the Dawn stays put, waiting on its check-up.
George pointed out that it’s ‘definitely the best-priced one,’ highlighting the value even if the buyer wasn’t ready to commit on the spot.
Rolls-Royce… and maybe a Bentley too
The discussion didn’t stop with the Dawn.
While weighing his options, the buyer mentioned his partner drives a G-Wagen and floated the idea of also getting her a Bentley Bentayga.
That was George’s cue to highlight a white-on-red example sitting nearby, offering to line up another inspection if they wanted to take a closer look.

So while it may not have been an immediate success, this trip could produce even better results than expected – Miami’s streets might be welcoming two new toys instead of one.
As of now, the Rolls-Royce is booked for inspection, the Bentayga’s in the mix, and the decision’s still ahead.
1,000 miles for a maybe? When $200,000 is on the line, sometimes that’s just how it goes.
