The Tesla Cybertruck has been spotted towing a huge trailer as it undergoes performance testing in California.
And the footage, which was posted to X today, has Cybertruck fans salivating.

“The Cybertruck’s towing capacity will be unreal,” Teslaconomics said alongside the video.
They’re not wrong, because Tesla says the Cybertruck’s towing capability will exceed 14,000 pounds.
To put that in perspective, that’s more than the Ford F-150 Lightning and the Rivian R1T.
The video by Dima Zeniuk was inundated with positive comments from excited would-be Cybertruck owners, with some even calling it a mini version of the Tesla Semi.
But others had questions, good ones too.
“What’s the range when towing?” one woman asked.
“Watch it be dead on the road a few miles ahead,” one guy said.
Tesla hasn’t revealed detailed information about how its range will hold up while towing, but that hasn’t stopped speculation.
“Every trailer is different, but losing half its range is a good estimate,” one guy said.
Others weighed in, saying it was about time Tesla released its own trailer.
But considering Elon Musk has been sitting on the Cybertruck and Tesla Semi for years now, that’s unlikely to happen anytime soon.
Luckily, there are other companies ready and willing to do just that.
In fact, a group of former Tesla employees has designed a solar-powered trailer specifically for the Cybertruck.
The futuristic-looking trailer is 27 feet long and powered by solar.
The company is called Lightship and it wants to redefine the motorhome, getting rid of “smelly, noisy, gas or propane generators”.
It looks incredible too.
It’s a modern portable mini home that expands to sleep up to six people.
Called the Lightship L11, it was designed to match Tesla perfectly.
It has hints of Tesla’s simplistic, modern designs both inside and out.
And thanks to its sharp front edges, tapered rear, and telescoping hard-sided walls, it can cut through the air.
