This YouTuber found a Ford Mustang GTA in a Texas barn with a remarkable one-off feature.

Dennis Collins came across a 1967 Mustang Convertible in a barn alongside a 1964 Ford Ranchero.

The Mustang wasn’t in a great condition, but it had potential.

Not only that, but it had several features on it that made it super rare.

Taking a closer look at this Ford Mustang GTA

First of all, this is technically a GT, not a GTA.

You may wonder what the difference between the two is, and it’s a fairly big distinction.

No, it’s not just that one shares its acronym with a highly popular game series that is due to have another installment.

Ford applied the GT label to Mustangs with manual transmissions, whilst automatics were branded with GTA.

Despite this, the car featured in Dennis’ video has the ‘standard’ interior.

Its color is also super rare, as its painted in Lime Gold and has Ivy Gold bucket seats on the inside.

Only six GTAs have both of these features, as reported by Autoevolution.

This car’s engine is a 289 cubic-inch V8 and is the lowest V8 engine that Ford put out that year

What makes this Mustang truly one a kind?

But as distinct as all those features are, there’s only one thing that sets it apart from the rest.

That would be the eight-track stereo radio.

This is the only Lime Gold 1967 Ford Mustang GTA convertible to come with one.

So, all in all, is this car worth restoring?

It doesn’t have a hood for the engine but is otherwise in decent shape, at least for a serious restorer.

If anybody is up for the job, it’s Dennis.

His previous videos have seen him come face to face with extremely rare cars, such as this Copo Camaro which was kept in a muscle car collection.
