This YouTuber paid a visit to a forest filled with over 4,000 muscle cars that the owner refuses to sell.

Mike Finnegan, host of Finnegan’s Garage, took his subscribers along for the ride when he visited Old Car City.

Located in White in the US state of Georgia, Old Car City is renowned for its thousands of classic cars and automotive relics.

It’s a real treat for car lovers, but if you’re hoping to take one home, you’re out of luck.

Taking a trip to see 4,000 muscle cars

To get to the forest, Mike took a ride in his wife’s restored 1969 El Camino.

The car has quite a bit of family history attached to it, which Mike laid out for his viewers.

He said: “My wife’s grandfather bought this brand new, and then it was passed on to my wife’s family.

“And then we inherited this – and a dog – when my wife’s father passed away.

“We drove it around for a bit and then I restored it as a surprise for our wedding anniversary.”

Cars make for great sentimental gifts – as demonstrated by these students gifting a school custodian his dream car.

Upon arriving at Old Car City, Mike gave a word of warning to the camera.

He said: “Try not to be all frustrated when you walk through and see six things you wanna take home.”

Before they even passed through the lot’s gates, they see a tree growing up through a car’s engine.

Mike lamented that he’s not able to rescue the tree with a chainsaw.

As they enter, they come across an exhibit made out of thousands of Hot Wheels cars.

There’s a ton of other model cars on display, most of them preserved behind glass.

The miniature cars are one thing – but how are the life size cars holding up?

The classics that fill up the lot of Old Car City

As you might imagine, being left out to withstand the elements has taken its toll on most of these cars.

A old Cadillac has evidently been there for quite some time, as it’s practically sunk into the ground.

“Did it sink or did the Earth just build up to it?”, the cameraman asked.

Jake replied: “I feel like at some point, Mother Nature just reclaimed everything for herself.”

Another car had essentially been trapped in place, with trees growing up on every side of it.

Trees can often wreck havoc on old cars, much like in this Swedish car graveyard when trees had grown up through several vehicles.

Rust is certainly no stranger to Old Car City, with most of the motors in a stage of decay.

Almost as scary as the rotting cars is the lot’s ‘Haunted Trail’.

Jake began to enter it – bypassing a creepy mannequin stood by the door – but soon bailed once he realized that there was no light inside.

We can’t say we blame him.
