I can think of at least one thing that no one can do better than Americans and that is turning everything and anything into a spectacle.
Just think about the Super Bowl, most people outside North America couldn’t give a damn about American Football and yet everybody knows what the Super Bowl is and most even watch it.
Rush, the 2013 Ron Howard film, is another great example.

Howard, who’s obviously very good at his job, openly admitted he didn’t care much about racing, or F1, and yet Rush turned out to be a commercial and critical success, and even Niki Lauda, a man who was famously not exactly easy to please, said he liked the film and Ron.
Well, it’s happening again. Michael Mann (Collateral, Miami Vice, Ali, Public Enemies) will be directing ‘Ferrari’, a biopic after Ferrari’s founder Enzo Ferrari, starring Adam Driver, Penélope Cruz and Shailene Woodley.
This is a great opportunity for people who don’t necessarily care about cars to get to know one of the most powerful brands in the industry as well as the personality of one of the most influential players in the history of cars. Because there’s a lot more to it than just wheels and an engine.
Like Ferrari himself once said, “I was driven by passion. I took the liberty of treating cars like a way to achieve freedom for men.”
