Georgia garage transforms Ford Mustang Foxbody into an EV
If Ford itself can turn its best-selling range into an EV, why can’t we do the same to classics?
Well, that’s the ethos for this garage in Georgia, which has taken the iconic ’90s Mustang Foxbody and transformed it into a modern-day electric car.
The Ford Mustang Foxbody in question was donated as a low-mileage car, racking up just 30,000 miles in its three decades on the road.
To give it an electric zest, FuelTech sourced a range of non-Tesla aftermarket parts, including batteries, motors, and inverters.
And the final product is incredible.

Highlighted on That Racing Channel – a YouTube outlet showcasing wicked automotive inventions – the car has waved goodbye to its original V8 engine and opted for a dual motor setup.
But this is no ordinary electric car
The garage claims that this is the first time that a ’90s Mustang has been given a manual EV makeover, with most electric cars opting to place automatic transitions into the modded vehicle.
Off the bat, there were some struggles in getting the motors to rest while changing gears, but at a cap of 300HP- for now – the Ford Mustang Foxbody jets off like a charging bull.
The project is two years in the making, and the garage is continuing to develop the ECU and EV setup to bring the power up to its maximum potential.

It’s not every day that we get to see modified cars be injected with an electric kick, but this vehicle wouldn’t be the first.
In fact, one man nearly lost everything he had to transform his Rolls-Royce into an eco-friendly electric car.
Still, this Mustang is up there with the best modded cars out there, and we’re looking forward to seeing it unlock its true potential.
