A company from the UAE has revealed the world’s first private foiling yacht called Ghost, and it can fly two meters above the sea’s surface.
The vessel comes from the brand Foiler, and they took the covers off this remarkable craft at the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show.
This incredible craft can fly above the surface of the sea, and construction could begin as early as late 2026, with the launch potentially happening just a couple of years later.
The Turkish design company behind it is saying it could represent a new era for comfort at sea.

What makes the private foiling yacht so special?
Bozca Design is behind the luxury yacht, with UAE shipyard ENATA building it for Foiler.
The yacht is called Ghost, and Foiler has some pedigree, having built the flying yacht Spirit in the past.
It is a striking-looking craft, with clean and flowing lines, creating a very futuristic-looking yacht.

The design aims to ensure Ghost is a high performer as well as simply looking good.
It has a beam of eight meters, extending to 20 meters when the foils are deployed.
To keep the weight down, it will be constructed from carbon fibre and titanium.
The yacht can fly above the sea
The centerpiece is the fact that this yacht can fly above the sea.
It can do so around two meters above the water, and it is fast with a top speed of 40 knots.
For cruising, Ghost will be able to do so at around 30-35 knots.
While it is quick, the team behind it also says it will offer a very comfortable ride.
That means you will be able to walk around it freely without worrying about falling over.

It is set to be very quiet too, so everyone on board can easily hear each other speak even at low volumes.
The luxury interior is open plan, allowing as much space as needed for the occupants, which can be from 8 to 10.
This remarkable craft could hit the seas as early as 2029.
