An Italian manufacturer called Giamaro has just unveiled this amazing rally-inspired hypercar.
The new car is based on the Katla, another hypercar launched by the Italian brand just a few days ago.
But what’s truly interesting is the name, which is a tribute to Mars.
Elon Musk will love this.

Giamaro is a small-batch manufacturer from Italy that recently made headlines after unveiling an astonishing hypercar with over 2,000 horsepower.
After introducing the hypercar in question, known as the Katla, the company also unveiled this.

The inspiration probably comes from the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, especially when we look at the rear section.
The name, however, is a tribute to Elon Musk’s favorite planet, Mars.
They call it the Albor, named after the Albor Tholus volcano on Mars.
Elon Musk will love this.
Or actually maybe not, because this is not electric.
Far from it.

We don’t know much about this vehicle, which is still in its prototype phase, but we do know it will use the same chassis and engine as the Katla, which is definitely good news.
According to the Italian manufacturer, the Albor will be powered by the same 7.0-liter V12 as the Katla.
This engine, depending on the model you pick, is capable of producing 1,647 horsepower or 2,217 horsepower, which makes it even more powerful than the Tourbillon.

The price tag of this rally-inspired hypercar hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s probably going have at least six zeros.
After all, the Katla starts at €2.47 million plus taxes, which translates to around $2.8 million (again excluding taxes).
Also, unlike the Katla, Giamaro hasn’t even built an actual prototype for this vehicle, which means we’ll probably learn more in a few weeks and months.
