This content creator put a GoPro inside an air fryer to see what happens when it’s in action, and the footage left people shocked.

On a YouTube channel called Casual Cooking, a man sent a GoPro where a GoPro has never gone before.

Accompanying the action camera were a few tortilla chips.

With the air fryer being set low to avoid damaging the GoPro, the subsequent footage provided a fascinating peek behind the curtain.

What happened when this GoPro was placed inside an air fryer

GoPros have been used in a whole variety of ways in recent years.

The common theme seems to be curiosity.

Have you ever wondered what it would look like to fall 3,600ft from the sky? There’s some GoPro footage for that.

Ditto for if you wanted to see the underside of a cruise ship.

And if you were ever curious about the insides of an air fryer…today is your lucky day.

YouTuber Casual Cooking popped his GoPro inside his air fryer and took it for a ride.

Admittedly, it was on a lower temperature, so he didn’t end up with a deep-fried camera at the end of the experiment.

Tortillas were also included, as the creator was curious to see ‘if they blow around’.

The camera faced upwards and gave viewers a more intimate look at the inner workings of the popular kitchen appliance.

Above the tray is a heating element, and a fan sits above that.

When the fan began spinning around, it circulated the heat from the element around the tray.

And hey presto, you’ve got delicious cooked food.

In the case of this experiment, it ran for less than 30 seconds for the benefit of the camera and the light that accompanied it.

The internet responded in a big way to this footage

For many viewers, this footage scratched an itch for them, as many admitted it’s something they’d been curious about for a while.

“THIS. THIS IS WHAT I WANTED TO KNOW. Thank you,” one viewer gushed.

“I’m so glad you did this because I really wanted to know what it looked like inside. I’m glad everything is OK!” another wrote.

“Best video ever…thank you for your service,” a third commented.

It just goes to show – practically anything you’re curious about is out there somewhere on the internet.
