This guy saw something he’d never seen before when he stopped at a Tennessee junkyard, and there was a modern rust-free Porsche that shouldn’t be there.

He described the junkyard as the ‘biggest he’d ever visited’ and his plan was to check out the imports first before diving into the rows of muscle cars, trucks, and other forgotten treasures.

In the very first row, he stumbles across a Mercedes, a Jaguar, and even a rust-free BMW E36 manual, the kind of projects that anyone would dream about rescuing.

Despite being in a less-than-perfect, albeit rust-free condition, his discovery of a modern rust-free Porsche stopped him in his tracks.

This Tennessee junkyard hid some unappreciated treasures

While exploring the great state of Tennessee, this YouTuber stumbled across a junkyard that he described as ‘the biggest he’d ever visited’.

Hidden among the forgotten vehicles, like muscle cars and trucks, he found some imported gems, including a particular supercar that definitely shouldn’t be there.

He decided to check out the imported cars first before the all-American muscle cars, and immediately found a Mercedes, a Jaguar, and even a surprisingly rust-free manual E36 BMW.

But it was among the Lexus sedans, Hondas, and Nissans where he found the most surprising sight he’d ever seen before.

He found a modern, rust-free Porsche amongst the cars

The YouTuber couldn’t believe it when he saw a modern Porsche sitting in the junkyard – it’s rare to find Porsches in a place like this, but this one, despite being full of trash, was salvageable.

It had no rust and was missing some wheels, but could very easily be a project for someone.

The content creator also found a Lexus GS, but it had the usual dents and scrapes that come with being abandoned in a junkyard.

He found Miatas with rust-free quarters, two Nissan 300ZX Z31s complete with stitched-leather dashes, and keys still in the ignition, an RX-8 Rotary, and over 20 Mustangs.

It shows that one man’s trash can be another man’s treasure, you just have to wade through an inordinate amount of abandoned Mustangs to get there.
