Hennessey has just unveiled the ultimate Venom F5 Evolution package, making the F5 the world’s most powerful internal combustion car.
The car is street legal, and powered entirely by internal combustion, with no electric aid.
It does 0 to 200mph faster than some cars get to 60mph.
But consider yourself warned because the cost is enough to make your heart skip a beat.

The most powerful internal combustion supercar in the world
The Venom F5 uses a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which Hennessey aptly calls ‘Fury’.
With the Evolution package, it delivers 2,031 horsepower, using no electric aid at all, which means this is the world’s most powerful internal combustion road legal car.
Amazingly, it all started because Venom F5 owners wanted even more power, as confirmed by the founder and CEO of the company, John Hennessey.
“During the past three years we’ve delivered nearly 30 F5s to clients all around the world. Some of our owners requested even more power, which led us to develop the new Venom F5 Evolution,” Hennessey said.

This was achieved with a long list of seemingly small but meaningful modifications.
There are new lightweight titanium exhaust valves and valve covers, and larger high-flow fuel injectors.
There are five driving modes – Sport, Road Race, Drag, Wet, and the full-power F5 Mode.
In F5 Mode, thanks to these mods, the F5 produces 214 extra bhp and it can produce as much as 1,445lb-ft of torque when running on E85 fuel.
It does 0-200mph (320km/h) in 10.3 seconds, which is faster than some cars can get to 60mph.
The ‘base’ Venom F5 starts at around $3 million, and the Evolution package isn’t cheap, either – it costs $285,000.

About Hennessey
Hennessey is constantly trying to build the world’s fastest car.
That’s essentially the company’s main mission.
Back in February 2014, the company’s Venom GT became the world’s fastest production car, achieving a 435.31km/h (270.49mph) top speed, beating the previous record held by the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
The American manufacturer also holds a few more interesting records.
The new Venom F5 Roadster is the world’s fastest convertible, and the upgraded F5-M Roadster is the world’s most powerful manual car.
