It’s not every day that you see a fully functioning fruit vehicle zoom past you on the highway, but one gearhead experienced the ultimate shock while traveling next to a fruitmobile.
The yellow sight caused commotion online as a bunch of gearheads went bananas.
But the unusual car isn’t a stranger to hurtling ahead, having been recognized by many as an impressive invention.
Plus, car fans simply couldn’t believe their eyes after seeing the banana in action.

Get ready to see the greatest fruitmobile ever invented, which made the highway go bananas
When cruising down the highway, often the last thing that drivers expect to see is a fruitmobile changing lanes.
Forget the usual SUV or supercar spot, this bizarre vehicle made drivers stop and stare during their travels on the open road.
Enter the banana car, a full-sized, working and moving replica of the fruit that we all know and love.

Spotted by one keen car fan, the sight simply made the internet go bananas.
“Spotted this [Banana] Peculiar Site on the Highway Today,” stated Reddit user Wrong-Ad3356.
Reportedly based on a Ford F-150 from 1993, the car took a while to get the shiny yellow exterior we see today.

Plus, once gearheads saw the a-peeling site, they couldn’t help but comment on the commotion.
“Had no idea this thing was a big deal, it was parked in my neighborhood for a bit, a couple months ago,” said one car fan.
“I can see the ‘a-peel’,” joked another.
“If he was throwing out a banana peel Mario Kart-style that would have been epic,” added a third.
Other highly modified cars have taken center stage, too
From engine upgrades to complete exterior overhauls, many car fans like to take their vehicles to the next level.
In fact, in Amsterdam, an artist once roamed the streets at night and managed to turn strangers’ parked cars into absurd DIY supercars. Talk about a surprise.
Plus, in terms of exterior shape modifications, the slimmest car in the world is the modified Fiat Panda that can even miraculously still be driven.
