Woman who bought a Honda Prologue is absolutely over the moon – says it’s a ‘Range Rover dupe’

One woman has gone viral for reviewing her Honda Prologue after six months of driving, and ecstatically labeling it as a ‘Range Rover dupe’.

Granted, we all have some bias towards our own cars.

That Citroen DS3 sat on your driveway is clearly better than your neighbor’s Porsche, right?

But one woman proclaimed that her Honda Prologue is as good, if not better, than a Range Rover, and fans agree.

Honda Prologue praised by owner as ‘Range Rover dupe’

The Range Rover certainly set a high bar for many hopeful SUV owners to aim toward.

However, a crop of cheaper cars have surfaced in recent years, including some replicas from distant countries.

The British-made SUV is very much Europe’s answer to the likes of America’s Ford Bronco.

But the luxury car is on the verge of having its reputation overtaken as lines of excellent SUVs have waited patiently in the outside lane.

And the Honda Prologue is definitely one of them.

The people carrier is a good-looking car by any standard.

But it’s clear that there’s some crossover between this model and a Range.

For instance, the Prologue has a longer front end than some boxier SUVs.

And having a black bar and brand name on the rear in place of a logo also adds to the similarities.

However, one TikTok personality claimed their Honda Prologue is a Range Rover ‘dupe’ and that they love this Japanese car.

Sarah Michelle Caro took to the platform to showcase her car with a glowing review.

And in addition to looking impeccable despite six months of wear, viewers agreed that the Land Rover clone is great.

“These cars get a lot of hate, but I think they’re one of the best-looking EVs on the market rn,” one poster commented.

“Trust me [you] chose right cause I hear Range Rovers aren’t that good and they aren’t that reliable compared to Honda,” another viewer added.

But even Range Rover drivers are impressed.

“As someone who drives a Range Rover the inside of this car is immaculate,” they said.

Honda’s SUVs have been praised a lot this year.

Mostly thanks to the Passport making a huge return to shop floors with a mean and aggressive new look.

But there might even be some disservice to the Japanese brand by calling the EV a Range Rover dupe.

Because the car stands tall on its own four wheels and could easily overtake the British SUV in stature with the cultural electric shift.
