This New Jersey man checked into a hotel room with a difference – there was an actual aircraft cockpit in there!
Most people would be pretty stoked to find that their hotel room had a mini-bar or a chocolate mint on the pillow.
But for content creator Sam Bucha, his hotel has a complete flight simulator next to his bed.
Admittedly, it’s hard to imagine how much sleep one would get in this room, when they had this awesome cockpit to play with.

A hotel room with an aircraft cockpit inside
The hotel in question is attached to the Tokyo airport, and this already looks like a nice hotel room.
Admittedly, we all have pretty basic standards when it comes to hotels, right?
We want a place to rest our head, have a shower, and maybe order up some room service.

So when you realize that this room came with an aircraft cockpit, you know it’s something it’s something special.
This room was made in collaboration with JAL airline (Japanese Airlines), and the professional touch is evident.
“You’re able to interact with and soar the skies before departing,” Sam Bucha said.

“It has white noise coming out of it and all the bells and whistles you can imagine.”
While Sam didn’t touch anything out of fear for ‘messing it up’, he did watch the demo flight on the screen and got a closer look at the buttons and switches.

“It’s definitely pretty wild to be showering and to walk out to a 1/8 of a plane in your room,” he commented.
“But the best thing about this room is the sleep you get.
“All the positives of air travel like the white noise without the [uncomfortable] seats.”

Weird and wonderful hotel rooms around the world
Having a flight simulator in your bedroom is pretty hardcore, we have to admit.
But we’ve seen hotels of a similarly awesome – and unusual – nature before.
Over in London, this Hilton suite is a Formula 1 fan’s dream as it’s stocked with memorabilia.
In Germany, you get the option to park your car on the room’s balcony, which is about as bougie as it gets.
And how could we forget the underwater hotel in the Maldives?
