Steve Hamilton of The Hamilton Collection celebrated his birthday by buying an Apollo Intensa Emozione at Monterey Car Week.
We’re talking about a 1-of-10 hypercar that costs around $3.5 million.
This wasn’t even a landmark birthday for him, by the way.
We can only imagine what he’ll do when he turns 50 or 60.

A $3.5 million birthday present
Steve Hamilton, the man behind The Hamilton Collection YouTube channel, celebrated his birthday at Monterey Car Week in style.
The 41-year-old car collector bought an Apollo Intensa Emozione, an incredible – and incredibly rare – hypercar valued at around $3.5 million.
We say ‘valued’ and not ‘priced’ because the Intensa Emozione was initially sold with a ticket price of $2.67 million in the US, but its market value has gone up since.
Hamilton, for example, had to pay $3.5 million to get this beauty.
This’ll certainly be a nice addition to his already significant collection.
Among others, he also owns a Hennessey Venom and a Bugatti Chiron.
By his own admission, he spends six figures every month just on maintenance.
One of the most extreme cars at Monterey Car Week

The Intensa Emozione is one of the most extreme hypercars in the world.
Manufactured in Germany but designed in Italy, the IE uses a Ferrari-sourced 6.3-liter V12 that delivers 769hp, and has a stick-shift transmission.
It only weighs 1,250kg, mostly because it’s made entirely out of carbon fiber, which explains the staggering 0-60mph time.
It only takes 2.7 seconds, and then the top speed is 208MPH.
Only 10 of these will ever be built, but if you can’t get one, the DeTomaso P72 would be a nice plan B.
It’s – nearly – the same car underneath, even though it uses a different engine, and production is still limited, but to 72 units and not just 10.
