In a bid to showcase which is quicker, man, animal, or supercar, a simulation has showcased how Usain Bolt would fare in a 100m sprint against a Bugatti Chiron and a cheetah.

As the fastest man of all time, Usain Bolt has pushed the parameters of 100m racing to the absolute limits.

But opponents like Tyson Gay and Yohan Blake don’t have an 8.0L W16 engine or four legs to power themselves with.

This simulation really puts speed in perspective.

Usain Bolt vs Bugatti Chiron vs Cheetah: the weirdest and most wonderful 100m race

We’ve seen a Cheetah take on a Formula E car in a 100m sprint, and while the jungle cat destroyed old variants of these whizzing machines, the otherworldly acceleration was too hot for it to handle.

But what about a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport? It’s the fastest car in the world in terms of top speeds (capable of over 300mph), but it’s not as sharp off the mark as an EV.

So can a Cheetah beat it? And, what about prime Usain Bolt, the fastest man alive? Could the celeb sports icon outpace the rapid four-legged beast on a track that he’s dominated for decades?

Well, thanks to the YouTube account Vividat, we now know the answer, as a simulation shows which is truly quicker: man, animal, or supercar.

The short simulation wasted no time in depicting how quick the cheetah is off the mark, as it burst into an emphatic lead, leaving the others in the dust.

But the Bugatti Chiron soon picked up pace and came roaring back.

However, the Cheetah smashed the record and crossed the line in 4.4 seconds.

The Bugatti crossed at 4.7 seconds as it began to hit high speeds.

Bolt, who has a world record of 9.61 seconds, came in last.

Football star Kylian Mbappe also raced, but he served as more of a wooden spoon holder.

What cars could win the race?

So, across 100m, the Cheetah is quicker than the fastest car on the planet.

But top speed isn’t everything, as if this were a quarter-mile, the supercar would have ripped past and set off into the sunset.

Over this distance, there might be a few cars that could win, namely, the McMurtry Spéirling, which recently became the quickest car to hit 0-60mph.

The Rimac Nevera has also smashed acceleration records and would likely nose out over the cheetah in a 100m sprint.
