The Jaguar Type 00 Concept was spotted in Paris, this time in blue, and it looks more futuristic than ever.
If we didn’t have pictures and videos of it in the real world, we’d call this an AI-generated vehicle, but this isn’t AI.
This is a real vehicle, and it looks like it was designed in 3025.
And, believe it or not, the production model will look similar to this.

The Jaguar Type 00 looks unbelievable in Paris
Jaguar brought the Type 00 concept car to Paris as part of a marketing campaign with actor Barry Keoghan. And the pictures look incredible.
Especially in this color, which Jaguar calls ‘Ultramarine’.
This really does look like a fake car designed by AI, but, we promise you, it’s totally real.

The Type 00 was unveiled last year as part of Jaguar’s rebranding.
The British automaker in the past has provided contradictory information about the vehicle. But the bottom line is yes, there’s going to be a production model and yes, it’ll more or less look like this.
The size and proportions will remain the same but, naturally, some of the exotic features will have to go.
The concept car, among other things, doesn’t have a rear window or wing mirrors. That’ll definitely change for the production model.

Having said that, based on images of the prototype that Jaguar is currently testing, the upcoming ultra-expensive EV will retain the same futuristic shape.
This is one of the weirdest cars we’ve ever seen but, as ever, the market will be the ultimate judge.
About the rebranding
Back in late 2024, Jaguar rebranded with a new logo, a controversial video, and the Type 00 concept car that looked like nothing else Jaguar had ever done before.
No one was expecting this.
Some people liked it and a lot more didn’t, but everyone had an opinion about it.
More to the point, a lot of people saw this as some sort of Hail Mary move from Jaguar, a last-ditch attempt to salvage a brand that’s been struggling for a long time.

Jaguar originally said the Type 00 isn’t a production model. But then the company did promise an upcoming production vehicle that’ll be loosely based on the concept.
It should be available by the end of the year, with a very powerful engine and potentially a six-figure price tag.
After that, it’s going to go one of two ways.
Either the vehicle will sell well, in which Jaguar will have been right, or it won’t.
