Jay-Z has a lot of accolades to his name, but here’s one extra – he’s reportedly the proud owner of a $28,000,000 1-of-3 Rolls-Royce, which is rap music’s most expensive car.

And it’s not just the most expensive within that industry; the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail is the world’s most expensive street-legal new car.

Inspired by the $13 million Sweptail, the Boat Tail is a 19-foot-long wonder with a ton of surprises in store.

This is one seriously cool car – it’s just a shame there are only three of them out in the world.

Taking a closer look at the Rolls-Royce that Jay-Z reportedly owns

The Rolls-Royce Boat Tail is a convertible that has perhaps taken some cues from superyachts.

From top to bottom, this car is pure luxury.

Powered by a V12 engine, the Boat Tail is a two-door four-seater, decked out in a leather blue interior per reports from The Telegraph.

A nod to Blue Ivy, the daughter of Jay-Z and Beyoncé? Perhaps.

The music legends have not definitely been seen with the car out in public – although, as the video above shows, there have been rumored sightings.

But if you had a car that was one of three, you’d probably be a little protective of it too, right?

And mom’s the word as far as Rolls-Royce is concerned.

An industry insider told The Telegraph: “I enjoyed many meetings with the owner and his wife at their home – they were wonderfully welcoming.”

The owner also reportedly has quite an extensive watch collection – which certainly fits the bill for Jay-Z with his Patek Philippe and Bugatti Tourbillon watch.

At any rate, this car would be impressive enough on its own, celebrity owner or not.

Perhaps the coolest feature that this car has is located in the rear, where compartments open up to reveal a champagne cooler,  a Christofle picnic set, cocktail tables, matching chairs, and a full-sized parasol.

Talk about a luxury set-up.

Oh yeah, and the champagne cooler is stocked with bottles of Armand de Brignac in press photos of the car.

Armand de Brignac is the brand that Jay-Z partially owns, by the way.

There are a lot of cool cars in the world of rap

The true ownership of this car will probably never be revealed, as the power couple is notoriously private.

Supercar Blondie’s Sergi Galiano once spotted the Boat Tail in Dubai, but no word on whether this was Jay-Z’s.

The couple certainly aren’t strangers to impressive automobiles.

Jay-Z has his Maybach Exelero, which is truly one-of-a-kind, and was lucky enough to receive a $1.6 million Bugatti as a birthday gift from his wife back in 2010.

As for Beyoncé herself, she gets to enjoy her ultra-rare 1959 Silver Cloud Rolls-Royce II Drophead.

There’s some stiff competition when it comes to couple car goals – Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce certainly have their own thing going on – but we reckon Jay-Z and Beyoncé might have a slight edge.
