Jeep has introduced an incredible-looking new Gladiator with mud-terrain tires, rock rails, and even a heated steering wheel called the Big Bear Edition, paying homage to a lake recreation area in a US State.
Even though the Jeep Gladiator was set to shake up the world of mid-sized trucks, it’s gone off with more of a whimper than a bang, being drastically outpaced in sales by the Toyota Tacoma pickup.
Jeep is trying this new version to try and pick up – get it? – sales and put some eyes back on the Gladiator.
With the availability of the Jeep Gladiator Big Bear Edition being so exclusive, and the never-before-seen luxury of the new model, will it be enough to help poor sales?

Jeep Gladiator Big Bear Edition
Following the somewhat lukewarm arrival of the original Gladiator, Jeep knew it had to really pull this out the bag to rehabilitate its image.
They’ve truly delivered in the form of a luxury pickup with an homage to the great state of California.
The bear is not only an icon that represents California through the state flag and a local lake recreation area, it’s also a scary and intimidating animal that reflects the large stature of the luxury pickup.
This Big Bear Jeep comes with a bespoke hood and, of course, has excellent off-road capability.
But it also has more luxurious internal features, like heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. There are also a few unique, class-exclusive open-air options like a fold-down windshield and removable roof.

This off-roader is exclusive to one US State
Of course, being the state that inspired it, the only US state you can purchase this Big Bear Gladiator Jeep is California.
Jeep is likely using this new version of the Gladiator with its customized luxury and exclusivity to increase sales.
And that could help it catch up to the Toyota Tacoma, which left the original Gladiator in the dust.
So, if you’re in California and you like the sound of this custom Jeep, be sure to snap it up before the limited run of 5000 sells out.
