The Jeep Wrangler Commando 392 Special Edition, built in collaboration with Fox Factory, was designed to celebrate America’s veterans and active-duty heroes.

Born in a garage full of horsepower, mud, and patriotism, this ultra-limited off-road bruiser combines raw muscle with precision engineering.

It’s based on the Wrangler platform, but almost every part of it has been reworked to conquer trails, dunes, and just about anything else standing in its way.

Launched in celebration of Veteran’s Day, this jeep was created solely as a big ‘thank you’ to those who serve in the US.

Boost the Hemi V8 further to get 705 horsepower

Under the hood sits a 6.4-liter Hemi V8, the same powerhouse found in the Wrangler Rubicon 392.

However, this time, it’s paired with a Tremec six-speed manual.

Fox Factory handled the suspension, fitting dual-resistance 2.5-inch bypass shocks up front and coil-over remote-reservoir units in the rear.

With up to 15 inches of suspension travel, the Commando 392 is made to dominate trails.

Power is sent through a heavy-duty Dana 60 front axle with 5.13:1 gearing, helping those 40-inch all-terrain tires dig in.

The black 20-inch bead-lock wheels complete its aggressive, ready-for-deployment stance.

The Jeep Wrangler Commando 392 Special Edition also comes with a variety of options.

You can get a Whipple supercharger, which can provide a total of 705 horsepower, a substantial increase from the Hemi V8’s standard 470 horsepower.

In addition, you can also customize the Hemi by opting for a Magnaflow exhaust with black tips.

And if you’re planning to go on some tough terrain, definitely opt for the 12,000-pound Warn winch, which can be a life-saver in sticky situations.

Each Jeep Wrangler Commando 392 will be handbuilt

Inside, it’s rugged but refined.

Ferrari-style red stitching decorates the seats, and aluminum switchgear adds a premium touch.

A four-point roll cage reminds you this isn’t your average Wrangler.

The Commando logo sits proudly on the leather-wrapped steering wheel, while Uconnect 5, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto keep things modern.

Only 250 units of the Jeep Wrangler Commando 392 Special Edition will be made, with 249 reserved for US service members and veterans.

The final one will be auctioned during Military Appreciation Month, with proceeds going to veteran charities.

Each vehicle is hand-built by Fox Factory’s special vehicle division, making every Commando unique.

Pricing starts at an attractive $69,995, with deliveries expected in 2026.

While it’s not exactly cheap for your average enlisted personnel, it’s still a really good deal, given how limited the distribution is.
